NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN
From mid-February through November, there is at least one race from the Cup, Nationwide and Truck Series scheduled every weekend. The OvalTracking Fantasy Racing League follows the documented results of these races to let you compete for prizes as a result of skill in choosing the top drivers each weekend.
The OvalTracking Fantasy Racing League lets you pick seven drivers before each weekend and earn points according to actual race results. Players can enter or change their picks at anytime up until 9 AM MST (Arizona) on the day of each round or weekend's first race. On most weekends the first race is on a Friday, so most deadlines for picking starters are 9 AM MST on Friday. On weekends or rounds with the first race on Saturday, the deadline for picking starters is 9 AM on Saturday. In August there is a Truck race on Wednesday evening at Bristol, so the deadline for picking all six drivers will be 9 AM MST (Arizona) on Wednesday, August 20th. Players must start at least one driver per race scheduled, and points are only awarded to drivers who finish 16th or better. After registering a driver for each scheduled event, players can register their extra drivers in any of the other scheduled series.
Example: When there is only one race scheduled for a weekend, players will start seven drivers in that one race.
When there are two races scheduled, players must register a driver for each race before registering their additional five drivers in either of the two races.
When there are three races scheduled, players must register one driver per race before selecting the extra four drivers that complete their weekly seven-driver lineup.
Players will receive points according to the results of the drivers listed in their team’s pick starter’s screen as of each week’s registration deadline.
Scoring:
Player's 'starting' drivers will earn points only if they finish in the top 16 places for that race. Points are awarded for finishing position, qualifying, type of car, and leading a lap.

TOTAL WEEKLY SCORING: Each week, when a player selects seven (7) different drivers, that player is credited with the combined scores of all seven drivers upon completion of that weekend’s race(s).
Multi-race weekends will show driver scores from all races scheduled. Since all series use the same FMFL scoring system, players can select their ‘extra’ drivers – the drivers that complete their seven-driver lineup after they have started one driver per scheduled race – according to expected performance including qualifying and type of car being raced. Each week, when a player selects seven different drivers, that player is credited with the combined scores of all six drivers upon completion of that weekend’s race(s).
HOW TO WIN: The OvalTracking Fantasy Racing League is divided into four quarterly games and a final, Hunt for the Hardware championship game.
Players can win prizes three ways:
- By being one of the top three point-scorers for each of the 40 race weekends or round (Top Dawg honors)
- By being one of the top three scoring teams after each of the four quarterly games
- By being one of the top three scoring teams for the end-of-season Hunt for the Hardware championship game.
Top Dawg prizes are awarded to the top three point-scoring teams for each of the forty (40) race weekends or round on the 2008 schedule. Players who score in the top 10 in points for any of the first thirty (30) weekends or rounds automatically qualify for the Hunt for the Hardware championship game.
Quarterly Prizes are awarded to the top three players in cumulative points at the end of each quarter. After the completion of each quarterly game, all players start with zero points for the next game.
Championship Prizes are awarded to the top three players in cumulative points at the end of the Hunt for the Hardware championship game. To qualify for the Hunt for the Hardware, players must score in the top 10 among all players for any of the first thirty (30) race weekends or rounds. Players who do not qualify for the Hunt for the Hardware are still eligible to play in the fourth quarter game for non-Hunt players.
